HCHGS Membership

WE VALUE AND APPRECIATE YOUR MEMBERSHIP!

Membership is open to all persons interested in Haywood County history and genealogy. Applicants need not be residents of Haywood County, nor have ancestors in the county to benefit from HCHGS membership. Annual membership fees should be submitted by December 31st for the upcoming year.

Benefits of Membership

• Member Discount – Members enjoy a discount on tours of the Museum of Haywood County History.
• Member Meetings – Membership meetings are held throughout the year including a “show-and-tell” typically in December.
• Ancestor Files – HCHGS has access to the Medford database which is only available from the North Carolina Room at the Waynesville Library.
• Workshops – History and genealogy workshops are scheduled throughout the year. Contact us for more information.
• Queries – Members may submit queries through the Query Request Form.
• Publications – HCHGS has a variety of publications both for purchase and for free. Check our here for our current available publications.
• Research Advice – HCHGS has the privilege of having several experienced researchers among its membership who are available to offer advice.
