The Museum of Haywood County History Brick Fundraiser
Your support is needed! The society is a non-profit organization which operates the museum and maintains the house with grants and donations. Profits from this fundraiser will go directly into the museum and house. With your purchase of an engraved brick for the front walkway, you are paving the way for the society to preserve Haywood County’s past for future generations. Bricks can be engraved with your business, family, or association’s name, in memory of a loved one, or to honor someone special. Just follow these easy steps to ensure Haywood County’s history will be remembered as time marches on!
You do not have to be a Shook or Smathers descendant nor do you have to be from Haywood County to buy a brick!
